About Ken
Folx deserve to have every part of themselves valued, honored, and felt in a way that acknowledges life’s complexities and centers THEIR truth and authenticity. As a first-generation, Queer, Non-Binary, Black, and spiritual being, I see healing as a transformative space where folx can step in and tap into the parts of themselves that facilitate inner healing and personal growth.
I have spent years working with marginalized groups to have their voices heard, their stories uplifted, and their experience validated. As a therapist, I believe that creating laughter, which I love to use as medicine for healing, is one of my superpowers. I show up to the space as a human and recognize that you are too! I never hide who I am, and neither should you. And whenever possible, I push my clients to be better than they were yesterday. It's a learning and growing process and that's OK. I like to tell folx, "you don't know what you know until you know".
There are no limits to how you express yourself within the healing space with me. If you're feeling angry and need to scream, do that. If you're feeling lost, let's go there.. If you're feeling anxious, let's name that. This is how we connect and grow. There is zero judgment, always. You are free to come as you are, always.
At the end of the day, your existence is worthy of attention. I genuinely believe in the power of listening, supporting, and celebrating every single part of who you are to help you navigate the world, systems, communities, relationships, and yourself.
