It takes a lot to live a human life. It asks much from us and takes much from us. The story we tell ourselves about ourselves matters deeply as does our overall philosophical world view. In Existential Analytical Therapy, we learn how to fundamentally position ourself towards one's own existence, to live on your own terms and to relate to yourself and the world around you from a position of strength and security. This allows us to make our own life that is meaningful to us, is central to living a life that we find meaningful which leads to contentment.
Though we of course work towards change together, I also help clients accept reality as it is, to be themselves and to enjoy being themselves. Internal harmony is essential to human happiness. In sessions, clients discover the totality of their personhood, come to appreciate being alive, to thrive rather than to simply survive. By making space for their inner selves, my clients come away from therapy with the ability to live life authentically.
Existential therapy can settle mental health issues significantly and permanently. My background as a philosopher coupled with my therapeutic skills allows clients a unique opportunity to see the human experience in a new way. Using the accumulated wisdom of great sages, I’ll guide you through life’s issues so that you can find internal harmony. Share your story and I’ll show you the way.
